Here at RAA we have an active Pony Club. This is where riders can learn all about caring for your pony and work towards pony club badges and certificates. We have Pony Club sessions available at the following times:
Thursday 12pm
Saturday 11:30am and 12:45pm
Sessions are 45min long. We vary the sessions, sometimes on the yard with the ponies, sometimes doing theory, and sometimes in the fields.
We aim for our riders to make new friends that share a love of ponies too.
Our members have the opportunity to compete as a team in the Pony Club Quiz, Blue Cross Care competition and also triathlon.

Pony Club Quiz Finals 2026
Huge congratulations to our Mini team Natasha, Georgina, Charlize and Darcy. They studied hard for weeks leading up to the competition, learning lots about pony club history, Points of pony, pony health and grooming. The team were hoping to finish in the top 10, they did even better than this, coming a fantastic 4th place. Well done team! The most important thing was the team work and fun they all had together.
Our Junior/ senior team were taking part in the finals for the first time this year, and managed a very respectable 15th. This was a very tough competition, against teams with members up to 25 years old. The team got some brilliant results, especially in the conformation round.
